Annual Cricket Match 2019 charity funds donated to Zoe’s Place
The funds raised from the PD vs Port Users Annual Cricket Match this year have been donated to Zoe’s Place. THPUA’s Chair and Vice Chair, Stuart Brookes and Gary Dawson, were accompanied by ICS Chair Nikki Sayer and PD Ports CEO Franc Calje to formally present a £1600 cheque to Zoe’s Place.
THPUA Annual Golf Day 2020
After a couple of rescheduled dates due to Covid, the THPUA Annual Golf Day 2020 finally took place on 16 October at Wynyard Hall Golf Club. It turned out to be a perfect day, particularly when the sun came out around 3pm as people were returning to the clubhouse courtyard for a well-earned beer – keeping to their four-ball of course to ensure everyone was complying with Covid regulations.
Merchant Navy Day
THPUA attended a ceremony at North Tees & Hartlepool Mission to Seafarers to ‘Fly the Red Ensign’ in honour of seafarers for Merchant Navy Day on 3rd September. Hartlepool Mayor, Councillor Brenda Loynes raised the flag to mark the event.
