The THPUA donated £1,000 to local charity Teesside Family Foundation last month. To mark the occasion, the THPUA treasurer, Christian Melvin posed for a photo with Teesside Family Foundation’s giant mascot.
A number of the THPUA members had put forward a request for the THPUA to support Teesside Family Foundation this year as a result of its growing reputation for the work it has been doing in the region.
Teesside Family Foundation helps, supports and provides assistance to Teesside families and individuals who simply do not have the means, are underprivileged or have fallen on hard times due to ill health. It provides short breaks in its mobile home at Primrose Valley for families who simply would not get a break. It assists groups for the good of their health and wellbeing, such as supporting sporting activities in deprived areas or where they are simply unable to support themselves, through the provision of equipment or sponsorship.
