The fourth joint THPUA and ICS Tees Shipping Dinner was an unforgettable evening full of delicious food, laughter and lively conversation. On 21st November, more than 300 guests gathered at the stunning Hardwick Hall to celebrate the region’s maritime community. The evening kicked off in style, with the Sea Cadets welcoming everyone on arrival and leading a ceremonial march that set the perfect tone for the night ahead.
After a warm welcome from THPUA Chair Matt Ord and an engaging speech from ICS Chair Catherine Moodie, our host and magician Andy Larmouth took centre stage. He kept the evening flowing effortlessly, with a performance of light-hearted comedy from Mark Watson keeping everyone entertained. The night ended on a high note with dancing and non-stop energy as Last Anthem’s live performance kept the party going well into the late hours.
We’ve received some wonderful feedback from the survey, highlighting what attendees enjoyed most about the event. This positive response not only encourages us but also provides valuable insights that we’ll use to make next year’s event even better.
