Hang Them High

This is the message to the National Grid who are replacing in 2012 the electricity cables which span the river Tees. There have been a number of constructive meetings with Port Users in particular those associated with potential wind farm projects. We are requesting the National Grid to give a clearance of 120 metres which will allow the construction of the some of the current largest designed wind turbines.

Walking for Charity

Together with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers there will be a week of walks along the river tees, commencing on the Monday at the highpoint of Teesdale and completing on the Friday near the mouth of the river.

Regular Monthly Meetings

The Tees and Hartlepool Ports Users hold monthly meetings , the May meeting being held at the offices of the towage compny on the river – Svitzer Marine
